About the Instructor: As a first-generation college student, I had no clue about applying to college when that time came and how to be successful once I made it there. I only knew 1 person personally who went to college. But I had a passion for serving that made me determined to close that gap of ignorance. So I did it. I got into a top public university, landed 6 internships/fellowships while in college, and had 5 job offers upon graduation even at the height of a failing economy. It has since been my life's work personally and professionally helping others to navigate college and work. I have also taught entrepreneurship at a major public university for the past several years. More recently, I have been invested in teaching social entrepreneurship to high school students - recognizing their anxiety, lack of direction, and the potential the course holds for building their confidence and motivation. I would be honored to teach your teen and I take the role seriously.
